Using Cameron Moll’s grid as a massive starting point I made a slightly modified version in Photoshop which I can switch on and off the various grids as layers and with 1024px and 800px overlays to see how a design gets cropped.
When I was at Photomedia one of the hardest areas of product photography which we had to occasionally take on was food shots – luckily it was a reasonably rare thing but we did have our assortment of acrylic bubbles and ice cubes…
